Since the beginning of her career at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in 2011, AK has focused on equity trading across global markets. In addition to her responsibilities in order execution, AK works closely with the firm’s trade cost analytics tools to ensure best execution. Andrew Wiechert

Anthony Glickhouse

Anthony joined WCM in 2016; his primary responsibilities are portfolio management and equity research for our fundamental value strategies. Since the start of his investment career in 2006, Anthony’s experience includes a position at Opus Capital Management, where he was a research analyst on the Opus Small-Cap Value flagship product, as well as a founder of, and portfolio manager for, the Focused Small-Cap product. Previously, Anthony held positions at The Private Client Reserve of U.S. Bank, where he conducted economic / capital market research and detailed asset allocation analysis, and at Renaissance Investment Management, where he performed operations and security analysis duties. Anthony graduated from Miami University (Ohio) with a B.S. in Finance.

Bill joined WCM in 2002; he is responsible for developing and servicing client relationships with investment consultants, EB plan sponsors, non-profits, and other institutions. Since the start of his investment career in 1985, Bill’s experience includes positions as Portfolio Analyst at Dain Bosworth, Director of Investment Consulting at Roney & Company, and Portfolio Specialist and Portfolio Manager at Steward Capital Management. Bill earned his B.A. in Economics from the University of Minnesota.

Brian Jordan

SENIOR INFRASTRUCTURE ENGINEER

Brian joined WCM in 2020, his primary responsibility is to ensure the stability, integrity and efficient operation of the WCM network infrastructure. Brian’s over 20 years of IT knowledge and hands-on practice provide WCM a broad wealth of experience and in his most recent position with Boardriders (formerly Billabong) he managed the entire western U.S. portion of Boardriders’ global IT data center infrastructure. Brian holds advanced certifications in multiple technologies.

Brian joined WCM in 2020; his primary responsibilities involve supporting WCM’s marketing, client service, and relationship management efforts. Brian began his investment career in 2003, most recently holding a position at Altrinsic Global Advisors as a Partner and Manager of Central Marketing and Sales. Earlier in his career, his experience includes a position as Senior Associate in the account services department at Citigroup Asset Management. Brian earned a B.S. in Marketing Management with a minor in Psychology from the Martin J. Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University (New York).

Chad Hoffman

PORTFOLIO MANAGER & BUSINESS ANALYST

Chad joined WCM in 2018; as a member of the Investment Strategy Group for our domestic growth strategies, his primary responsibilities are portfolio management and equity research. Chad’s industry experience includes serving as Assistant Portfolio Manager for the Small-Cap Growth and SMID-Cap Growth strategies at Kennedy Capital Management and, earlier, at Missouri Valley Partners. Chad also served as Equity Research Analyst at both Kennedy Capital Management and Missouri Valley Partners, with significant experience following the Information Technology sector. Chad graduated Summa Cum Laude from Saint Louis University (Missouri) with a B.S. in Finance.

Connor Carollo

BUSINESS ANALYST

Connor joined WCM in 2018; his primary responsibility is to assist in the generation of original equity research for our fundamental value strategies. Since he began his investment career in 2016, Connor’s experience includes a position as Research Analyst at Bares Capital Management for their domestic Small-Cap strategy. Earlier, he completed an internship as International Research Analyst at Denver Investments for their International Small-Cap strategy. Connor earned his B.S. in Agricultural Economics from Kansas State University.

Conor Deveney

BUSINESS ANALYST

Conor joined WCM in 2017; his primary responsibility is to produce original equity research for our global, fundamental growth strategies. Since the start of his investment career in 2015, Conor’s experience includes a position as Equity Research Associate at Evercore ISI. Earlier, he held internships at J.P. Morgan, at Dartmouth’s Tuck School of Business, and at Grantham, Mayo, Van Otterloo. Conor earned his B.A. in Economics and Political Science from Amherst College (Massachusetts).

D. Kevin Hughes

TRADING ASSOCIATE

Kevin joined WCM in 2018; his primary responsibility is trade settlement for all global markets for all WCM funds and sub-advised funds. Additionally, Kevin plays key roles in proxy and corporate action administration. Since he began his investment career in 2000, Kevin’s experience includes stints at State Street Bank, where he managed several teams in their Global Trade Processing unit, and at UMB Bank. Kevin earned a double bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting from Iowa State University, and completed his MBA at the University of Missouri (Kansas City) with a dual emphasis in Finance and International Business.

Dan Mitchell

Dan joined WCM in 2016; his primary responsibility is to ensure the stability, integrity and efficient operation of our information systems. In this role, Dan utilizes his deep technical background to provide architectural, deployment and support solutions that align to our business strategy. Since the start of his career in the IT industry in 2000, Dan’s experience includes engineering positions with various cloud hosting companies and managed service providers in the Southern California area. Dan holds multiple technical certifications, and earned his B.A. in Economics from California State University, Long Beach.

Daniel Wiechert

Daniel joined WCM in 2017; his primary responsibilities involve communicating the firm’s investment thinking to consultants and clients, as well as supporting WCM’s marketing, client service, and relationship management efforts. Since he began his career in 2011, Daniel’s experience includes a role as Portfolio Associate at WCM, a position as Cash Management Associate at TD Ameritrade, Marketing, and a position as a Licensing Assistant at ABKCO Music & Records. Daniel earned his B.A. in Social Sciences from the University of Southern California and his M.A. in Music Business from New York University.

David Brewer

CHIEF COMPLIANCE OFFICER

David joined WCM in 1986; as Chief Compliance Officer, his primary responsibility is to administer our compliance program with the objective of full conformity to best practices and the Advisers Act. This responsibility includes establishing, maintaining and monitoring the firm’s policies and procedures. David began his career in the investment industry in 1985, and earned his B.A. in Business Economics from Westmont College (California).

David joined WCM in 2018; his primary responsibilities include administering WCM’s portfolio of pooled funds, both private and public, and managing their reporting requirements. Before joining WCM, David worked as a senior attorney for an international law firm overseeing a portfolio of litigation for several Fortune 50 banking institutions. David earned his B.A. in Psychology from California State University, Long Beach and his J.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law. David is admitted to practice law in all state and federal courts in California.

Don Kuo

DEPUTY CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

Don joined WCM in 2005; his primary responsibilities are to assist with oversight of the Operations Team, along with personnel development, risk management, and business development. Since he began his investment career in 1999, Don’s experience includes positions as Research Analyst with London Pacific Advisors, and Portfolio Analyst with Roger Engemann & Associates. Don earned his B.S. in Biology from the University of Kansas, and his M.B.A. from the University of Missouri (Kansas City).

Drew French

Dustin Smith

Greg Ise

Since he began his investment career in 2001, Greg’s experience includes positions as Senior International Research Analyst at Rainier Investment Management in Seattle, where he helped launch the firm’s international small-cap product, and as Vice President and Analyst at Allianz Global Investors in San Diego, where he was responsible for covering global consumer stocks. Earlier, he held positions as Research Analyst at Osmium Partners, a San Francisco-based hedge fund, and as Investment Banking Analyst at UBS in New York. He earned a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Kansas, where he graduated with honors, and an M.B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley.

Since the start of his investment career in 2001, Jon’s experience includes a stint as principal at Opus Capital Management, where he was one of three portfolio managers on the Opus Small-Cap Value flagship product, as well as a founder of, and portfolio manager for, the Focused Small-Cap product. Earlier, he held positions at Valuation Research Corporation and Arthur Andersen LLP, performing valuation work for public and private companies, primarily with respect to equity and option valuations, purchase price allocations, intangible assets and asset impairment testing. Jon graduated magna cum laude from Xavier University (Ohio) with a B.S.B.A. in Finance.

Jung Ryu

Jung joined WCM in 2018; as Business Analyst, his primary responsibility is to produce original equity research for our global, fundamental growth strategies. Since the start of his investment career in 2005, Jung’s experience includes a research analyst position with OrbiMed Advisors, a leading health care-dedicated investment firm. Prior to joining OrbiMed, he was part of the health care team at J.P. Morgan’s investment banking division. Jung graduated from Dickinson College (Pennsylvania) with a B.A. in Economics.

Since he began his investment career in 2013, Ken’s experience includes a position as Senior Equity Research Associate at Dodge & Cox Investment Management in San Francisco, and earlier a position as Equity Research Associate at Credit Suisse in New York. Ken graduated with honors from Georgetown University (Washington, D.C.), earning a B.S. in Business Administration, with concentrations in Finance and Management. 

Kiki Uhl

OFFICE MANAGER

Kiki joined WCM in 2018; her primary responsibility is managing the day-to-day office operations of the firm, including controlling correspondence, operational support, and meeting coordination. Since she began her industry career in 2014, Kiki’s experience includes a position with a Newport Beach real estate investment firm, where her responsibilities included administrative support, publishing research, and assisting with office management. She graduated from Roanoke College, Salem (Virginia) with a B.A. in Business Administration.

Kurt Winrich

Kurt joined WCM in 1984; as a member of the Investment Strategy Groups for our global, fundamental growth strategies, his primary responsibility is portfolio management. Kurt’s analytical background includes a position as the head of computer-aided design and analysis with Hughes Electronics Santa Barbara Research Center. He earned his B.A. in Physical Science from Westmont College (California), his B.S. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University (California).

Lakshman Venkitaraman

BUSINESS ANALYST

Lakshman joined WCM in 2019; as Business Analyst, his primary responsibility is to produce original equity research for our global, fundamental growth strategies. Since the start of his investment career in 2008, Lakshman’s investment industry experience includes a position as Research Analyst at Harding Loevner in Bridgewater, NJ, and a position as Equity Analyst at Cupps Capital Management in Chicago, IL. Lakshman worked as an engineer at Microsoft Corporation prior to transitioning to the investment industry. Lakshman earned an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business (Illinois), where he graduated with high honors. Lakshman also holds a B.E. in Electronics Engineering from the University of Mumbai (India), and an M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.

Malcolm Mitchell

Malcolm joined WCM in 2021; his primary responsibilities include administering WCM’s portfolio of pooled funds, both private and public, and managing their reporting requirements. Before joining WCM, Malcolm worked in public accounting for a firm specializing in high-net-worth individuals, where he provided consulting and compliance services for a range of taxpaying entities. Malcolm earned his B.S. in Business Administration and M.S. in Taxation from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.

Mark Dreschler

Mark joined WCM in 2020; his primary responsibilities include administering WCM’s portfolio of pooled funds, both private and public, and managing their reporting requirements. Before joining WCM, Mark worked as a senior attorney for an international law firm, where he advised clients on domestic and international corporate, partnership and REIT tax matters. Mark earned his B.A. in Political Science from the University of San Diego (California) and his J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, where he graduated cum laude. Mark is admitted to practice law in the state of California.

Matt MacArthur

PORTFOLIO SPECIALIST

Matt has been working with WCM since 2001; he is responsible for developing and servicing client relationships with investment consultants, endowments, foundations, family offices, and other institutions. Since he began his investment career in 1988, Matt’s experience includes a position with Templeton Private Client Group, followed by his time as Managing Director at the formerly WCM-affiliated firm, Centurion Alliance. Matt attended the University of Arizona, earned his B.A. from The Master’s College (California), and also completed the Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) program at the Wharton School (University of Pennsylvania).

Michael Hayward

Michael is also a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries in London.

Since she began her investment career in 2005, her experience includes a position as Senior RFP Associate at William Blair Investment Management, and as RFP Writer at Northern Trust Investments in Chicago, IL. Michele earned her B.S. in Marketing from DePaul University (Chicago).

Mike Tian

Mike joined WCM in 2012; his primary responsibilities are portfolio management and equity research for our global, fundamental growth strategies. Since the start of his investment career in 2006, Mike’s experience includes a position as Senior Equity Analyst and Equity Strategist at Morningstar, Inc. in Chicago. While there, he also managed the Morningstar Opportunistic Investor, a portfolio and newsletter focusing on special situations and growth companies, and additionally played an instrumental role in the development of Morningstar’s economic moat trend methodology. Mike earned his B.S. in Finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Mike Trigg

Mike joined WCM in 2006; his primary responsibilities are portfolio management and equity research for our global, fundamental growth strategies. Since he began his investment career in 2000, Mike’s experience includes a position as Equity Analyst at Morningstar, Inc. in Chicago where, in addition to general equity analysis, he managed their Model Growth Portfolio. Earlier, Mike held a position as Analyst at the Motley Fool, an online investment service. He earned his B.S. in Finance from Saint Louis University (Missouri), where he graduated with honors.

Miles Bredenoord 

SPECIAL PROJECTS ANALYST

Miles joined WCM in 2019; as Special Projects Analyst, his primary responsibility is to lead data-centric projects that augment the research process for our global, fundamental growth strategies. Since the start of his investment career in 2011, Miles’ investment industry experience includes a position as Portfolio Strategist at OppenheimerFunds, and a position as Research Associate at Jefferies Group, LLC in New York. Earlier, he held multiple positions with FactSet in Sydney, Australia and San Mateo, California. Miles graduated from University of California, Berkeley with a B.A. in Economics.

Ming Tran

Ming joined WCM in 2015; as Trader, his primary responsibilities involve securities trading, reporting, and client service for the firm’s sub-advisory programs. Monica M. Bullard

COMPLIANCE MANAGER

Monica joined WCM in 2017; as Compliance Manager, her primary responsibility is to administer our compliance program with the objective of full conformity to best practices and the Advisers Act. This responsibility includes establishing, maintaining and monitoring the firm’s policies and procedures. Since the start of her investment career in 2005, Monica’s experience includes a position as a Managing Member of Focus 1 Associates, where she provided SEC compliance consulting, internal control reviews, annual and due diligence reviews, and mock SEC examinations for investment advisers. Prior to this, she worked at Ashland Partners & Co., LLP, a GIPS compliance and verification specialist firm managing SAS 70 Audits, Surprise Custody Examinations, Agreed upon Procedures and GIPS Verifications for Investment Advisers. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and holds the Certified Securities Compliance Professional® (CSCP®) credential. Monica is a member of the Oregon Society of Public Accountants and the National Society of Compliance Professionals. She earned her B.S. in Business Administration from Southern Oregon University.

Additionally, he served as Global Equity Analyst at Turner Investments, and as an intern at BlackRock. Pablo graduated summa cum laude from Drexel University (Pennsylvania) with a B.S. in Business Administration and a concentration in Finance and Accounting. 

Pat McGee

Pat joined WCM in 2016; his primary responsibilities are portfolio management and equity research for our fundamental value strategies. Since the start of his investment career in 2010, Pat’s experience includes a position at Opus Capital Management, where he was a research analyst on the Opus Small-Cap Value flagship product, as well as a founder of, and portfolio manager for, the Focused Small-Cap product. Previously, Pat held the Associate Analyst position at Avondale Partners LLC, where he assisted in research. Earlier still, he worked as a senior consultant at Ernst & Young LLP, where he established the Los Angeles office’s Fraud Investigation and Dispute Services practice. Pat earned his B.B.A. in Finance and Public Policy from the College of William & Mary (Virginia), and his M.B.A. from the University of Virginia. 

Paul Black

Paul joined WCM in 1989; his primary responsibility is portfolio management for our global, fundamental growth strategies. Since the start of his investment career in 1983, Paul’s experience includes positions as Portfolio Manager with Wells Fargo Private Banking Group, and with Bank of America. At WCM, Paul has helped define the firm’s investment strategy and pilot the firm’s direction. In addition to his active role in portfolio management, he has also served as a client liaison for the communication of the firm’s investment thinking. Paul earned his B.S. in Finance from California State University, San Diego.

Paula Ferry

CONTROLLER

Paula has worked with WCM since 1999; her primary responsibilities include managerial and financial accounting, cost accounting, payroll, pension accounting, and annual tax/audit preparation. Paula has almost three decades of experience in accounting and finance, and earned her B.A. in Psychology from the University of California, Irvine.

Pete has been working with WCM since 2001; his primary responsibilities are portfolio management and equity research for our global, fundamental growth strategies. Since the start of his investment career in 1998, Pete’s experience includes a position as Portfolio Analyst for the Templeton Private Client Group, followed by his time as Managing Director at the formerly WCM-affiliated firm, Centurion Alliance. He earned his B.A. in Communications from San Jose State University (California), where he graduated with honors, and his J.D. at the Monterey College of Law (California).

Rick DeMuesy

PORTFOLIO SPECIALIST

Rick joined WCM in 2012; he is responsible for developing and servicing client relationships with EB plan sponsors, investment consultants, endowments, and foundations. His three decades of experience include a position as Vice President, Western U.S. with Hachette Filiipacchi Media/Hearst Magazines, as well as other positions in business and consumer media, publishing, multi-platform communications, and sales and marketing management. Rick earned his B.S. degree in Marketing from the University of Findlay (Ohio).

Rick Hicks

CHIEF CULTURE OFFICER

Rick joined WCM in 2013 after working with us for almost two years as a consultant. As Chief Culture Officer, his primary responsibility is to help define and articulate the firm’s values with the aim of promoting effective teams and nurturing a healthy, self-sustaining culture. He also works with individual staff, mentoring and coaching in the areas of work-life balance and life planning. Earlier in his career, Rick held senior positions at several global charities and ran his own practice as a management consultant. He has earned multiple degrees, including a Ph.D. in Organizational and Developmental Psychology from the Claremont Graduate University (California).

Rob Quirk

BUSINESS ANALYST

Rob joined WCM in 2018; his primary responsibility is to produce original equity research for our global ESG strategies. Since he began his investment career in 2008, Rob’s experience includes a position as Equity Research Analyst at Thornburg Investment Management in Santa Fe, NM. Prior to that role, he also worked with Thornburg’s Sales and Marketing Groups. Rob graduated from Southern Methodist University (Texas) with a B.B.A. in Finance. 

Rolf Kelly

PORTFOLIO MANAGER & BUSINESS ANALYST

Rolf joined WCM in 2018; his primary responsibilities are portfolio management and equity research for our global ESG strategies. Since the start of his investment career in 2005, Rolf’s experience includes a position as analyst and portfolio manager at Thornburg Investment Management in Santa Fe (NM) where he concentrated on ESG investing. Prior to that, he worked as an analyst at NCM Capital. Rolf earned an M.B.A. from Duke University (North Carolina), and a B.S. in Engineering from Colorado School of Mines, where he graduated with honors. 

Ryan Bracci

Ryan Bracci HEAD TRADER

Ryan joined WCM in 2000; as Head Trader, his primary responsibilities are securities trading and oversight of the trading desk. Since the beginning of his investment career in 2000, Ryan has focused on trading both equity and fixed income securities in markets all over the world. In addition to his responsibilities for routing orders to ensure best execution, Ryan works closely with the investment teams to formulate trading strategies. Post execution, he is also accountable for confirming that all trades are settled appropriately and in a timely fashion.

Ryan Quinn

CLIENT PORTFOLIO MANAGER

Ryan joined WCM in 2019; his primary responsibility is communicating the firm’s investment thinking while servicing investment consultants and institutional clients. Since he began his investment career in 1997, Ryan’s experience includes positions on the NYSE-floor with Merrill Lynch, Bear Stearns, and Deutsche Bank, as investment consultant at Monticello Associates (Denver) and Canterbury Consulting (Newport Beach), and as CPM with Alternative Investment Management (New York). Ryan earned his B.A. in History from Colgate University (New York), and his M.B.A. / M.S.F. from the University of Denver (Colorado) – Daniels College of Business.

Sameer Sabharwal

BUSINESS ANALYST

Sameer joined WCM in 2019; his primary responsibility is equity research for our US small-cap and SMID-cap growth strategies, focusing on the Health Care sector. Since the start of his investment career in 2003, Sameer’s experience includes a position as Senior Healthcare Analyst at Guidepoint Global, a leading primary research firm. Prior to that, he served as Senior Analyst at TimesSquare Capital Management, LLC,  Research Analyst at Eagle Asset Management, and Equity Research Associate at Raymond James & Associates. Sameer earned his B.A in Economics and International Studies from the University of Chicago (Illinois), where he graduated with honors. 

Sanjay Ayer 

PORTFOLIO MANAGER & BUSINESS ANALYST

Sanjay joined WCM in 2007; his primary responsibilities are portfolio management and equity research for our global, fundamental growth strategies. Since he began his investment career in 2002, Sanjay’s experience includes a position as Equity Analyst at Morningstar, Inc. in Chicago, where he covered the gaming, cruise, and online travel industries, and an earlier position at J. & W. Seligman & Co. in New York as a performance analyst. Sanjay graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Johns Hopkins University (Maryland) with a B.A. in Economics and B.S. in Applied Mathematics.

Sloane Payne

CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

Sloane joined WCM in 2004; his primary responsibilities are oversight of the Operations Team, along with personnel development, risk management, and business development. Since he began his investment career in 1992, Sloane’s experience includes positions as Portfolio Specialist with Fisher Investments, as well as Principal with Atticus Partners, where he specialized in derivatives trading and hedging strategies. Sloane earned his B.A. in Philosophy from Duke University (North Carolina).

Tamara Manoukian

PORTFOLIO MANAGER & BUSINESS ANALYST

Tamara joined WCM in 2017; her primary responsibilities are portfolio management and equity research for our global, fundamental growth strategies. Since the start of her investment career in 2005, Tamara’s experience includes positions as Associate Portfolio Manager / Equity Research Analyst at Thornburg Investment Management in Santa Fe, NM, and as Investment Analyst at Boston-based hedge fund Greenwood Investments. Tamara earned a B.S. (cum laude) in Business Administration (Finance concentration) from Boston University School of Management (Massachusetts).

Tom Rydzeski

SYSTEMS MANAGER

Tom joined WCM in 1987; his primary responsibility is oversight and maintenance of the internal operations of all computer, network, and communication systems. Tom works closely with our Systems Engineer, and together they manage and maintain our portfolio accounting, trade order management, and distributed work environment systems, ensuring an accurate trading platform, timely internal and external reporting, and the functionality of all technological aspects of our disaster recovery program. Tom’s nearly four decades of experience in business management, operations, and management information systems include positions and consulting roles with various regional banks in the Southern California area. He earned his B.S. in Organizational Leadership from Biola University (California).

Trevor Ferry

RECONCILIATION ASSOCIATE

Trevor joined WCM in 2020; as a reconciliation associate, his primary responsibilities involve overseeing daily and monthly portfolio reconciliation. He earned a B.S. in Finance from the Ivy College of Business at Iowa State University.

William “J.B.” Horner

BUSINESS CULTURE ANALYST

William joined WCM in 2014; his primary responsibility is the development and implementation of WCM’s corporate culture research framework. Since the start of his investment career in 2014, William’s experience includes positions as Trading Associate, Portfolio Associate, and Research Associate at WCM Investment Management, before his promotion to Business Culture Analyst in 2016. William earned his B.B.A. in Economics from the University of San Diego (California) and his M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Columbia University (New York).
